Routers H3C AR 18-2X Series Branch Access Routers The H3C AR 18-2x Series Ethernet Routers are ideally suited for broadband SOHO applications that require fast Ethernet interfaces, robust packet processing capability, abundant services and a streamline design. The H3C AR 18-2x Series Routers feature cost-effective high performance, and can be applied in SOHO solutions and SME’s as a branch router. This series includes the AR 18-21/22/22S-8/22-24/18-21A models. H3C AR 18-2x Ethernet Routers consist of three types in terms of LAN interface density: ![]()
The H3C AR 18-2x Series provide 10/100BASE-Tx interface in the uplink direction and 10/100BASE-T Ethernet interface in the downlink direction. Data exchange between these ports is via layer 2 switching and port isolation can be implemented. In addition, the built-in hardware encryption chip of AR 18-22S-8 greatly enhances encryption performance. H3C AR 18-3X Series Branch Access Routers ![]() The H3C AR 18-3x Series Routers are ideally suited for SMB and Small Office Home Office (SOHO) applications. The H3C AR 18-3x Series includes the AR 18-30E/18-31E/18-32E/18-33/18-33E/18-34/18-34E/18-35E models. The AR 18-3x Series Router supports xDSL and provides a new solution for situations where high bandwidth is required such as small and medium-sized enterprises and some large branch offices. In the uplink direction, the H3C AR 18-3x Series provides ADSL/ADSL2+, G.SHDSL interface or ISDN interface. This directly connects to equipment at the central office through one or two subscriber lines providing a robust solution for broadband network access. The ISDN interface primarily functions as a backup interface. In the downlink direction, H3C AR 18-3x Series provides four 10/100BASE-T Ethernet ports. Data exchange between these ports is via layer 2 switching and port isolation can be implemented. The AR 18-33/18-34/18-33E/18-34E is based on SHDSL access over ATM. The AR 18-33/34 supports two-wire mode while AR 18-33E/34E supports four-wire mode. The AR 18-30E/31E supports ADSL2+ over POTS (ANNEX A Standard) interface while AR 18-32E/35E supports ADSL2+ over ISDN (ANNEX B Standard) interface.
